Welcome to CSUITE, Reputations' interview with some of the movers and shakers among our clients. Check out our interview with Don Wright, Educator and Economist, President of British Columbia Institute of Technology.

September - Don Wright

Q. What Reputation would you like BCIT to be known for while you are at the helm?

That BCIT is integral to BCs prosperity.

Q. What is the top trait that you find most employers are looking for from graduates?

The ability to work in a team.

Q. What is the social media tool or gadget that you can not live without?

BlackBerry

Q. What was your favourite subject in University?

History, pretty well all of it but particularly European.

What fictional or cartoon character do you most associate yourself with?

Richard Sharpe in the series by Bernard Cornwell. The swashbuckling is way over the top, and not me. But I find Sharpe quite a compelling character. He rises through the ranks from extremely humble roots, struggles to maintain his own sense of integrity in a morally challenging world, always shows strong loyalty to his team and receives the same in return. He has the courage to act and it is all wrapped in a complex, far-from-perfect character. What's not to like?
