Media Training

Reputations Corporation’s media training program helps spokespeople develop and effectively communicate key messages and manage the media.

Topics dealt with include:

• How news is generated and gathered;
• What makes news;
• How to make it more likely that your organization’s news will
  get attention;
• The differences in the types of newsgathering organizations.

Participants are given instruction on how to prepare for interviews by fully understanding the story, angles and the particular news organization, the audience and the probable questions.

Full–day media training sessions allow participants to learn the methodology for success with the media through role–playing and simulated interviews. Participants receive constructive feedback and hone their media communication skills.
